Hey yal,

Yeah so my new trainee didn't get on the plane in SLC ....he had past unrepentant stuff he didn't face.. so I'm not training this tranfer but I still kinda em because my comp Elder Slade had real bad comps and hasn't really learned much so I'll be making him a real great missionary, then train again haha.  I'm just Pres Watkins all time trainer.

Yes, the apartment is Indian..... smells like curry 24/7 which I'm not happy about and we are right in the middle of china. We have to drive like 20 min to get away from it all... lol. It's pretty crazy.... not hollister lol. The wards are ok. Between the 2 wards, there's 1000+ people half of which are LA so yeah lots of work to be done. Apparently they haven't had the best missionaries here because they cold shouldered me in the Santa Clara ward but Laurence Station has really worked hard to get the work going so I'll just focus 60/40 on them cause they were friendlier.... haha. so yeah good stuff.

Gotta a lot of work here. but one cool experience......

Met this guy, Tony.... former jail, former blackmarket weapons dealer, killed many people and literally could get me a tank if I had the cash. Way up in that industry and we are teaching him the gospel! haha its crazy!! He has the biggest heart I've ever seen and he respects the church and women and missionaries like his family.... its amazing. He keeps tellin us if someone messes with us to call him. I'm tempted to see what would happen but I will refrain. lol.  We talked weapons and guns for awhile.... he was surprised I knew my stuff... haha. Then he told us hundreds of crazy stories of him and his team doing jobs. It was nuts!!! haha... he's such a cool guy and he's so close to being baptized. It's really sweet!

Been workin so hard and tryin to learn the area so bad.  I've left Hollister outta my mind lately which is good..... helps me focus on the now. lol 3 hours of church is not long for anyone who wants to think that. Try going to WC at 730, then going through 2 wards lol, gettin outta church at 430, then try adding Fast Sunday to it..... now that's alot of church haha.

I'm excited since there's really no relationships between members and missionaries.  I'm gonna work til I drop and give it all I can for these 2 wards so when I leave they have the relationships.

Hope all is well at home and I think we got a little drizzle of rain last week at about 65 degree so that was a cold day but ya know its Cali hahaha!

Two Letters in 2 days!

Hey yal, so this week has been terrible.... too much goodbyes and packin up memories....

Went to this guy David Curerros ranch and he showed us all his ww2 and nam trucks and let us start em and then we got to drive his airplane tug... sooo much fun!!! oh so the good news, I'm training again and getting transferred, so I won't know anything about the new area and I'll be training...... I foresee much stress in the coming weeks.

I got the package.... it was super nice! I love the cookies and the TIE! haha I wore it like 2 days straight! it was nice..... thank yal for everything!

So I'll be gone tomorrow and then I'll get a new guy on Thursday and back to work!

I'm gonna miss it all but oh well, Hollister's in good hands.

I'm sending a box home that has stuff I can't use here and isn't up to mission standards.

Well time to move on I guess. I'll tell ya all about this up coming crazy week next Monday.

Hey yal,
So in my new area and they hadn't emailed cause of the holiday so I'm doing it again lol.

So my new area, Santa Clara/Laurence Station. up in Los Altos..... it's a huge city.... and the situation i was put into is interesting..... so we've got a visa waiter til Monday.  He's goin to Australia. Picking up the new guy Thursday, plus I've got a comp that has been out 3 transfers so I'm senior companion, training, District leader, and whitewashing 2 wards...... haha can you fit more into that besides Zone Leader?????   Plus my district is us and 2 sister companionships and the ZL which is Aranda who helped train me back in Hollister..... plus another set of sisters livin in our area that I have responsibility for.... sooooo much work.... and the other elders are not giving me much info on what's going on.... oh another thing. that last missionary here got sent home early because of extreme disobedience... haha so I'll be real busy for the next few weeks. oh did I mention this city is huge! and cars are all banged up and there are tons of horrible drivers lol.  We're in an Asian section as well as the heart of silicon valley... I'm like in shock still thinking I'm going to end up back in Hollister in a few days..... sadly that doesn't seem to be the case.... 0 investigators, 0 progressing Less actives... and yeah fun stuff.....

Hey Yall,

 

This has been an emotionally draining week and I would like to tell yal but it's super crazy and HIPPA doesn't allow it..... lol. Darn dems! hahaha!  So yeah we saw parts of the Super Bowl, then we had to go do work.... lol.  Heard it was good though.

This week I mucked stalls for pigs...... lol.   Got lots of #2 outta there and then the lady said we had to get the rocks out so we got to sift through it all to get the rocks lol. So much fun.........not! haha  Horse #2 doesn't smell bad.   Pigs.... real bad!

Als,o wired 2 different houses for electricty..... one for a single outside light and the other the entire kitchen lighting and outlets as well. Guess this is God tellin me to be an electriction. It's not too hard but I guess I shoulda paid more attention to Dad and Kotarski when they did the basement.... plus got zapped a few times.... lol.  That'll wake ya up!!

Speaking of 18 holes..... got to go golfing! with Wes! on a championship course. Which meant I sucked..... hahahaha..... but it was fun!

Transfer date is the 19th. I asked and begged Pres. to let me stay and he told me I had to wire him a large cash sum to his Swiss checking account by last Tuesday..... looks like I'm outta here.... this place is perfect for me..... I cant leave haha.

Well don't have much time cause we are emailin Tue mornin now cause we were golfin yesterday.
