This week has been great. really havin fun. The Zone up here is
so much fun! We're always together havin a blast! super super sweet stuff. I
think that's helped this transfer fly by. It was so fast. It ends on April 2. We'll see what happens.
The only really big thing that went on is Elder
Holland's visit. Really a great visit. He shook each of our hands and it
was cool... I think I made a good impression because he stopped shaking to look at
me a 2nd time as I moved on :) winner winner chicken dinner! His eyes are the
most intense neon piercing bright blue I've ever seen! and I'm 100% sure he's
seen the Resurrected Lord. He is a very passionate man and he is even more
passionate about missions. He gave us a good balance of gratitude, spiritual
uplifting, and a swift kick in the pants to get to work. Took some good notes
and hopefully it'll stick for a long time. I was sorta scared I'd vaporize in
front of him haha but that wasn't the case.
Anyway gotta run.... almost outta time. Hope to hear from you Monday and
have a wonderful Easter, a good talk is called It's Easter Time Again by Elder
Richards.
Love each of you! when you do stuff go all in every time! Don't
hesitate, just go 100%.... go big or go home. If you do that, yal always come out

Hey yal!
Sounds like an intense week! but a fun one! Glad yal could spend some time with Granny. Wish her happy bday for me!
Speaking of Coleman, I'm in the same district as his cousin! The one that Meg really liked that I think moved. but do you remember them? maybe they didn't move idk but whatever.
Love the new scripts but I'm so nervous to mark em haha well see what happens
So Megan, remember technique is everything with disc!!! I didn't have any muscle and was the best on the team even more than the buff guys. so remember technique, then strength, and bam hittin 120s
Pops! Ran across a real deep scripture this week! DC 93.1- The Lord wants to show Himself to all his children not just the Apostles which are Special Witnesses of Him, totally blew my mind. So now there's Temple worthy and now a step above. I'm gonna shoot for being pure enough to see Christ and if I don't get that high hey at least I'll be Temple Worthy. Next on the agenda is to pin point Kolob hahaha might need a bigger map and yer telescope
This week has been good.... had Zone Conference and it was sweet. Pres Watkins is an amazing story teller! Super super fun yet very information drivin.
So I learned a great lesson this week that I'm embarrassed to share..... I'm dreading the wrath that will be brought upon me. haha just messin.
But this month, I'm in a new area and we have a Ross..... worst place in history because..... when I heard Holland was coming, I decided to get new shoes and ties to look extra pro. Totally burnt through everything. Now I'm scrounging for laundry money.... haha so I learned my thrifty lesson and am never going to Ross again unless I have a set list of things to get, so at least I'm learning a little out here.
Other than that, this week has been the norm. You know your in silicon valley when in Elders Quorum the guys in front of you are laughing over an equation they drew out................................nerds.... hahaha
But one last thing I got a job offer this week! Remodeling kitchens and cabinets so if I ever end up in Santa Clara I'll have a job..... the guy says, so there's a bonus.
The stress is still there just because our numbers that we report don't reflect how hard we've worked. I know the Lord knows we're working our tails off but I want the WC and Bishop to know too. Oh well, I'll just keep stressin and it'll go away eventually. And yeah starting to get relationships going with members. Slade doesn't talk much so he has started coming outta his shell haha which is really really good! He will be outta his shell 100% by the time I'm done with him!

Hey yal,
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha LOOOVVVEEEE them Scripts!! haha they are amazing!!!!! I'm too scared to mark em now.... lol oh well. This crazy Korean lady we've been teaching was sitting next to me on Sunday and saw em and was like "they look so new, do you not study?" I was like what! haha soo funny she's a crazy cool lady just doesn't understand like any English.
Other than that, this week has been terribly hard. Everything's catching up to me and I feel.......... 1. exhausted, 2. tired, 3. worn out, 4. overwhelmed, 5. stressed and yeah. We are spinnin our wheels trying to find LA and Investigators to teach and we always seem to not get anywhere, then it looks bad in WC when we haven't taught that many lessons. It's so hard. I know we gotta keep pushing and working hard but jeez this is terrible. 2 areas and 1400+ members.... ya think we'd be overloaded with teaching appointments. oh well the Lord has his reasons why I'm here.
So dinner with the Stake Pres........made his wife cry in the lesson after...... all I asked was any experiences where there was a decision to be courageous and stand up for what ya believe or not..... like leaving a bad movie.... ya know stuff like that. She dug up some HS instances where she didn't and was very emotional and I was like dang......... but before that whole issue it went well. I went in thinking he was just a person not my boss and kinda felt like I was interrogating him but we had a good conversation about work and stuff. Apparently he developed some chip for Audi and Tesla and so he's rich. lol..... has tons of fast cars that he never drives over 65. lol but hey some people are smart.
Oh so I heard through the grapevine that boots are ok for service activities! so in the next package here whenever that is could ya put my boots and the water resistant spray?
Elder Slade is slowing coming outta his shell. It's really cool to see. I'm lovin helping him out. He's a rock star!! Just gotta keep working on him.
We're a car right now but we will probably go to bike soon when sisters take over Laurence Station ward next transfer the 4th. We shouldn't be moving apartments, just be over Santa Clara Ward instead of em both. But Pres always gives the girls cars. Oh well, I can loose the little bit of a gut I've got.... lol
Anyway gotta run..... our Pdays shortened today with some service. Hope all is well with everyone and Duke.

Hey Yal,
This has been a real hard week. Stopped by roughly 90 houses and 15-20 let us in...... felt like I was tractin the whole week. The wards don't really help us too much and so that's hard as well. Hopefully things will look up. Elder Aranda keeps talking me up to the Stake Pres and now we have dinner tonight with him! I'm a stressin. Numbers wise that we report makes it look like we're just doing average work when were bustin our chops so I'm real sad that the Stake Pres doesn't see that. We'll see tonight I guess.
Man Feb flew by!!!
Last week we went to Google and helped them out.... that was cool. They have a special Google store lol.
I think we blew the socks off of ward council yesterday. The progress reports previous to yesterdays were terrible and so I think this one blew em away...... hopefully it continues like that.
Had a ward party for Santa Clara ward Sat night for the YW fundraiser...... was a live auction for desserts. Real real fun. We had $15, so we bid every time and then a lady told us to bid more and more, so outta adrenaline I bid $50... lol.... no bueno!! Didn't have the money, but she ran out to the car to get the check book to cover us. She came back in and looked at us... she was outta checks!!!!! haha....but throughout the night, members would throw us $5s and it was so nice. Then all the old people who just bid to donate gave us their desserts..... we got so much stuff now! lol
About our apartment, I was tempted to put Ol Glory on the Front door.... hahahhaha... probably woulda gotten kicked out.
I'm startin to warm up the the members a little more each time I meet with em and visa versa, so it's good. Lots of work dealing with 2 wards and 1400 people lol, but it's good. I need to be kept busy.
Elder Slade, different lol. He only says 2 words a day and the 2 words are outta left field lol but he's cool. He's had a bad run in of companions. His previous 2 were sent home for bad things... so he's really never been trained or gotten to know the wards, so I'm basically white wash training with a little knowledge of where people live. But I'm really trying to get him outta his shell. When we contact, I'll hit 30ish in a day and he will walk past maybe 20 and talk to 2-3 ish. Super shy, super super shy. So I'm tryin to get him out, plus in lessons he just sits quiet and doesn't say anything so I try to not say anything and he still doesn't speak up so then it's just awkward for 10 min lol.... so I'm trying to train him to be way out going!! We'll see how it goes, he's from Kaysville Utah and has been out 4 months.
Gotta run guys...... have a fantastic week. Work hard in sports and be champions!!! oh also if you find any good LDS music whether EFY or just from Desert book I'd love it! The Nashville Tribute gets old after 7 months.
