Hey yal,

 

Man sounds like our ward is getting torn and ripped apart. that's not good! but the Lord is obviously trying to strengthen and bring together the members. Hey that's pretty cool with the Calls.... the Lord needs em up in Denver for a touch then they get the blessing of being right next to us! haha that's pretty awesome!

 

This week was crazy fast.... seems like we left church and then boom sacrament meeting started again... where is the time going?!? not sure but hopefully I'm using it well.

 

So crazy ness! We have a baptismal date! for July 19th! Its Misty... she is so ready and eats everything up! Her husband not so much but her yes. Shes been every week since we invited her! Shes a rockstar and is great. The Lord is fantastic too! Oh man I love em to death! They are just awesome! I love the small ward cause I can have a friendship with each of em. They are just so awesome. ahhhhhhh I should just move in here? or maybe Santa Clara. ah merge the wards and then bam even better! haha

 

Just a normal week in paradise really. Teaching and doing service! Went on exchanges with E. Ayotte last week and that was fun. Bad idea to stay up and talk and play cards til 2am.... so tired for that next day.... oh man... never again lol.but we got to help a kid set up his room. Man is he spoiled... on his room wall, he's got a 50 in TV mounted and then his computer set up right underneath so he can play xbox and computer like at the same time. Its pretty trippy. but I'd rather be outside. But he's happy and his moms happy so that's all that matters.

 

Heard the US is kickin butt in the World Cup!!! So stoked!! Wish I could watch it but hey that's ok. Speaking of soccer, way cool miracle. So I'm basically outta money right? (whats new) and this boy Orisi Damuni had his bday Friday and I really wanted to get him something. So tried Ross and nothing, then I was like oh there's a sweet soccer shop lets go there. Went in, everythings price tag is like 20LB of Gold. but then this guy was like for my Mormon brother I'll sell ya it for $5. I'm like deal! hahaha so cool! And the kid loves it! I put it in my shirt and was like I don't feel good and walked in the house and all the family was so confused and I walked over to him and was like I need you to punch my stomach it'll make me feel better and wham! out came the ball lol so funny. He's a cool kid. Then while were chillin there these dumb kids were throwin bottle rockets in their backyard. so Bro. Damuni yelled at em and they kept going so he ran out the back. I ran out the front and Tripp freaked out cause he wasn't at my hip lol and we tore off after em. Sadly we didn't catch em cause it took us too long to get around the fence and it was easy to get away. but man my adrenaline was pumpin! haha Bro. Damuni was so chapped. but it was all good after we just laughed it off.

 

Then we helped this awesome PM family move some stuff and drank like 45 gallons of water cause they just keep refillin our glasses and I just keep drinkin it up. Anyway so end of the night we are bikin back and I've stopped at like 2 gas stations askin for a bathroom and none.... gotta go sooo bad. Called Saratoga elders to pick us up. Nope they're far away. End up going past Wendy's and I'm like ok bingo! Run in, do my business and come out and Patric and his family are right there! He came randomly to church just to see what it is about a month ago and so I got introduced to his family and he is still interested.... just had a busy schedule and man cool. How the Lord blessed us to not have a bathroom til Wendy's, otherwise we woulda never saw him.

 

Got a text from pres "the white eagle has landed at grandmas" hahaha so looks like its there. House might be getting his own car. And I have been thinking about that idea you had about going for generals for the 1st semester and that sorta thing. So I'm OK with that. Think that'll be a good start. Been talking to my academic councilor and we'll make that happen. Yeah I had pres send the letter. Gotta confirm today that he did and then I can take the acuplacer when I get back. Like I said, I'm just trying to get everything set up enough that I'll have something when I get home and then I can work all the other stuff once I can make phone calls and look stuff up other than just a few hours a week.

 

Hope I'm makin yal proud. I'm not allowing myself to be idle when I get home. That's why I wanna go to school so bad. Plus that's where all the cute RMs will be. hahahaha just sayin!! its a plus!! haha Love yal.... have a fantastic week. Can't wait til I see yal! "Welcome to Colorado Springs Municipal Airport" hahaha just kidding!! I've got to much work to do here!!

Hey yal!

 

This week whoa buddy! freakin fantastic! so many miracles popping up! ahhh it was awesome!

 

We continued to help with that remodel, plus we did some moving for a NM neighbor and his friends and they were askin questions galor.... it was awesome but sadly if we didn't come they would not of been able to pack that truck.... amatures. lol it was fun though

 

We went to 5guys for lunch and the Clarks from Santa Clara ward showed up! It was awesome to see em! They are doing good and man I really miss that ward... they are so bomb!!

 

Had the best pizza of my life too. Little ma and pa shop called Slice of New York. Oh man it was so delicious I loved it. ever had buffalo sauce on pizza? soooo good!

 

So I'm looking back at my planner to see why the week was so bomb and literally it looks like a normal week. Same as usual. but it was just fantastic! I'm so dang happy dunno why but its so bomb! Our Saturday was packed! Literally changed from service clothes to pros like 4 times. We were running all over the area and had zero time to breath just about....it was a great day. One of my favorite.

 

This week was just so good. The Lord loves us a lot and we got a lot done and checked in on people and got to know new people and bam it was just awesome.

 

Talked to a UVU councilor over fire and I'm workin on setting things up for that. I have total faith that the Lord will open some doors for me and House on how to make it work. Full steam ahead.... car or no car. Time to get educated and makin things work. Heavenly Father knows my plan and if He likes it he will qualify it.... if not He will start adding course corrections. it'll work I know it :)

 

Went to the beach yesterday..... sooooo fun. Love it so much! That's a big thing I'm gonna miss. We just had a total blast! so much fun. Caught starfish and crabs by the Capatola lighthouse and walked the beach and it was so fun and of course played some vb! It was so much fun. Got home and our dinner canceled.... but we got invited to the Tongans dinner so that was a blast! buffet!! haha so perfect for the day. We were all sitting there eating and we were zoned out and just dead hahaha reminded me of the end of the Avengers when there eating in that shop at the end of the movie. so funny.

 

I'm so happy. lovin where I'm at right now. The ward is amazing..... literally they are some of my closest friends besides missionaries..so nice. oh btw! Tim McFarland is takin us to lunch today :) so stoked!!

 

Glad Dad had a good Fathers day. I was thinkin about the little things that Dad does that just make all the difference. Patience with all us crazy people was the biggest. He lives Alma 7.23-24. lives it and loves it. Such a great example. Thanks Dad! That trait is coming in handy with E. Tripp lol.

 

Cant really remember my dream but I had a dream about ya mom and just want you to know that I love ya :)

 

Man things are going so fast! Pres leaves next week and then 1 more transfer and then boom dun..... ah! io au e that's so crazy....

 

I'm sendin some pic. Love ya guys. Have a bomb week. knowing that I'm havin way more fun ridin a bike in some random city in Cali and getting one heck of a tan ;) hahaha man life is so great. The Lord loves us! and man is He good.

Hey Yal!

 

Man what an awesome week yal had! That sounds so dang fun! haha I really miss camping, that sounds like so much fun! Glad ya had a blast! I'm pretty jealous haha. 

 

Man Dallin's home? What! That's insane..... life is just goin to fast! haha We'll have some good mission chats when I get back sounds like!   

 

Families that are falling apart are literally all I work with now. Its rough to see em run into brick walls and wonder why things don't work out.... few weeks ago in fast and testimony meeting the majority of testimonies were using the saying " the gospel just works" and its true it does just work the covenants and the blessing and the commandments all of it! just works when we use it to the fullest. and yet some people cant see that and just run into the walls expecting em to just go away.

 

This week was the longest, hardest week of my mission, seriously. Well the 1st half. like no one wanted to let us in. We visited 45 homes by Wednesday and literally got in to 6 over the 3 days... haha gotta love bikin all over town in the 90 degree weather in dress clothes haha!! I need to invent like a shirt that has a built in mist thing in it. haha but it was good. I got to sweat off all the food I've been eatin with those steroids haha it was definitely rough with the complaints from the comp too but ya know I just pedaled faster when he did that  haha left him in the dust at times but he got the message I think. The 2nd half the week was so better! Interviews with pres on Friday. It went super well....  talked college, girls, and life.... it was fantastic. I talk to him like a friend now not a like scary authoritative figure. He's an amazing man and idk how I'm gonna get through a transfer with this new guy. He just can't replace him in my mind. He met with Tripp for 45 min too. and something has happened to Tripp!! Its  awesome!!! He's steppin up a bit. haha nothing too spectacular to most but to me, man he's makin leaps and bounds! So happy for him! plus I got to go on exchanges with Ayotte who is a rock of a kid. Only been out like 4 months haha but he's awesome! We had a blast together and it was good for him and me to be with people who actually care about the work and love what we do. and ya know its just nice to be with someone you actually have something in common with too. That is a huge thing we take for granted sometimes. We picked up E. Housekeeper and Doxey and took em down Stevens Creek Canyon to a LA hermit in their ward and we met 2 bikers in the canyon and had a bomb lesson with them about the church. It was so random but hey it works! Plus being in the woods I was so ready for camping haha me and House are already workin on planning a trip!

 

Things are good I love it! Church is fantastic and our ward is just the best! I love em to death. I would do anything for them and I really hope Tripp comes to that too before I leave. I'm nervous about him taking over the area. but hey the Lords in charge and He knows whats best!

 

Talked to Frank Casico from Hollister too and he got married! Its crazy! I'm pretty shocked at the whole thing but hey more power to him. It was fun reminiscing in the good ol days in Hollister. man I miss em. I miss a lot of people lol I'm like a lil girl.... gosh! haha things are gonna be tough in August...

 

School wise I called last week with no response so I'll call again today and set it up for the following week to give some study time. Looks like it'll cost 50$ to take the placater. I take it at and another 10 to uvu for processing it. On the money issue to..... if its not too much, can I get another pair of shoes? These are so thrashed from the bike. I'll keep using these mostly and then the nice ones for Sundays. and so I've got a good pair to come home in. Let me know what ya think. There's a nordstrom rack so I can look there for some awesome ones too.

 

Oh! so on exchanges I tried literally Chinese food. like the whole dang menu was in Chinese. We were the only white people there. I was so nervous...... it looked so gross.... 1st dish Ayotte and House almost lost their stomachs and Sanchez was laughin like crazy. but the other dishes were surprisingly good. like I would go there again it was that good. I wouldn't pick it but if someone suggested it I'd go. It was sweet. but Ayotte the next day was so sick hahah! sucker!!

 

Life's good..... literally fantastic. I wouldn't change a thing! backs recovering. I'm off the steroids which is nice. Back still hurts when I try to move stuff and in the morning but hey what ever, I'll get better.  I've got full confidence. Ankle's messed up again haha we were moving a family and carrying a dresser up stairs I was doin the matrix with my back(not good for it) and then stepped wrong with my bad foot and wham! The dresser fell and I got near beheaded haha oh man my whole body just hurt haha but I'm better now! I guess the Lord is trying to keep me humble or something idk but man that one was fun haha looked like a giant tuna fish gave me a hicky hahahaha!

 

Love yal! Have a blast of a week! I love you guys a ton and man we are gonna have a blast when I see ya!!

Hey Yal!

 

Happy day late birthday Jenna! Hope it was super fun!

 

Man its been one heck of a long week for me... man my back just gave up the Ghost about... hurts pretty bad but I got to the doc and I'm on some steroids and muscle relaxers and have 2 more prescriptions for stuff if I need it after the steroids are gone. But on the plus side, they made me lots more hungry so there hasn't been any leftovers at members dinners haha!! Its really hard though because a certain someone doesn't exactly know how to work.... so I usually end up pickin up the slack. Which is fine, but I'm payin for it now with my back all messed up. Moving a steel stove fireplace not the best idea 2 days after a disc bulge. Oh yeah that's the diagnosis... a disc bulge on vertebrae # 15 I think. Like right on my belt line. Luckily the Lord loves me and it doesn't hurt too bad to bike. Mostly just sitting still is what kills it.  But that's OK... I'm supposed to learn something from this I just know it! haha still figuring that one out though!.

 

That slowed me down a bit this week. But we had a random referral from Mormon.org and she came to church and loves it! So that's a huge blessing! Her name is Misty so more to come from her in the following weeks!

 

We got to mount Tila Drova's TV to her wall this week.... that was super fun! She's awesome and my Fijian is basically fluent hahahaha so that is super good.

 

Well transfers are come and gone the new zone is alright... not the same as it used to be but hey I guess that's what happens with change.

 

It was cool yesterday...... felt like we needed to go down this one street and boom there was a guy who had a flat tire and no idea how to change it (what 20 yr ol guy doesn't know how to change a tire??) anyway it so happened to be right in front of a potentials house that we go over and talk about cars with sometimes so he came out and helped too. It was sweet! Plus I got dirty which is obviously the best thing ever! hahaha

 

Our ward is awesome, just sayin! The members are so cool and I love spending time with them! I seriously am gonna miss this ward. They are all rockstars and it sounds a lot like how our home ward is doing too. Not many Active members and double callings. That's how it is here! Its cool to see how everyone steps up to the plate and pushed forward ever backwards never! Its good. Its awe inspiring. Its fantastic. The YM here all got up and bore their testimonies too which was sweet!!!!! We've been pushin em for ages and finally there it is! haha it was good. Love it here. Love the people. Love the weather. Love that time I'm here. Man its just good. really good.

 

Hopefully my back gets better soon so I can get back to that volleyball! Love ya so much! Have a blast at camp!!
